Ankit Jain

Ankit is the co-founder of Mercurius Advisory Services and leads the international audit and Indian tax practice. MAS leverages on his experience for its fund raising and transaction support practices. His extensive public accounting experience spans for more than 18 years. He is often engaged by clients for consultation on various financial matters. In addition, he is closely involved with tax structuring for private equity transactions including evaluating the tax ramifications of multi-state consolidated corporate entities.

He has advised clients on restatement of financial statements as per US GAAPs and compliance with SEC regulations for fund raising through SEC listed SPAC's. He was a part of Big four Accounting firms like PwC India and PwC Canada and American Express. At PwC, he was leading the audit team as field in-charge, performing audit of critical areas and supervising and reviewing the work-related areas covered by other team members. At Amex, Ankit worked closely with the senior management group and was involved in management reporting for Japan, Asia-Pacific and Australia region.

His professional experience includes providing transactions support services including investor/ target identification, feasibility analysis, due diligence, valuations, transactions structuring and other support services, investment advisory services including setting up joint ventures in India, fund raising, transactions structuring as well as entry and exit strategies.

Ankit is a Chartered Accountant and is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) and an IFRS certified accountant. He is a B. Com (Hons.) graduate from Sri Guru Govind College of Commerce, Delhi University. He has been a member of Technical Committee of ICAI and team in charge for reviewing and updating the Indian Accounting Standards. Ankit was actively involved in organizing the youth festivals at his school and college levels.
